Little Maya loved to look at the night sky. From her window, the tiny dots of light seemed like scattered glitter. "Where did all those stars come from?" she often wondered. Tonight, as she snuggled into bed, she closed her eyes and wished she could know the secret of the very beginning.

Then, a soft, warm light began to glow far away. It grew brighter and brighter, pushing back the darkness. Maya watched in wonder as tiny sparks danced from the light, becoming the first shimmering stars. They twinkled like happy diamonds in the vast blackness.

The light swirled and stretched, painting the empty space with colors Maya had never seen. Gentle clouds of stardust spun together, slowly forming giant, round shapes. Maya gasped quietly as she saw planets begin to take form, each one unique and perfect, sailing through the newly lit sky.

One special, blue-green orb caught her eye. It looked like a marble, mostly covered in deep, clear water. Maya floated closer, watching as the vast seas gently sloshed and settled, shimmering under the soft, new light. This was Earth, just beginning to be.

Slowly, land began to rise from the deep waters of the new planet. Green hills pushed up, creating soft valleys and wide plains. Maya saw tiny, green shoots appear on the land, like a gentle carpet being unrolled. Everything was so calm and new.

Finally, the sun shone brightly, a warm, golden ball in the sky. The moon took its place for the night, and the stars sparkled above. The earth was now covered in green, with gentle rivers flowing and clouds drifting. It was a beautiful, peaceful place, made with great love.Maya opened her eyes, feeling warm and full of wonder. The stars still twinkled outside her window, but now she knew their amazing story. She understood that a loving Creator had made all these incredible things, from the biggest star to the smallest leaf, with care and a gentle hand.
