📖 Genesis1:2
Puddle was a tiny drop of water. He floated in a giant, dark ocean. There was no land. There were no fish. Just water everywhere. The deep waters were very quiet and very, very dark. Puddle felt small.
Everywhere Puddle looked, there was nothing. The water stretched on forever. It was an empty place. Puddle wondered if anything else existed. He just drifted slowly in the endless, formless ocean.
Suddenly, Puddle felt a gentle nudge. It wasn't a big wave. It was more like a soft, quiet breath moving the water around him. He began to sway, slowly, peacefully, in the vast darkness.
A warm, soft feeling spread through the water. It wasn't a light yet, but a comforting warmth that hugged Puddle. It felt like a gentle hand was close by, even if he couldn't see it.
Puddle felt this wonderful, peaceful presence above him. It was calm and strong, like a big, gentle cloud floating just out of sight. It was a sense of something important, something kind, truly there.
The deep, dark waters didn't feel so lonely anymore. Puddle knew he wasn't alone. This gentle presence was like a promise, making the formless world feel safe and full of quiet hope.
Puddle floated calmly, wrapped in the gentle warmth. He knew something special was happening. The quiet, hovering presence filled the dark, empty world with a beautiful, calm expectation. He waited.
The deep waters were once dark and empty, but a gentle, powerful presence was there, ready to begin something wonderful. Just like Puddle, we can find peace and hope even when things seem unclear, knowing God's Spirit is always present, guiding us with gentle care. Genesis 1:2 (NLT) says, "The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters."
